Sugaring is an ancient method of hair removal that uses a simple, natural paste made from sugar, lemon, and water. Yes that’s really it!! The paste is applied to the skin at body temperature (so no risk of burns!) and quickly removed in the direction of hair growth without sticks or strips. This technique pulls hair from the root while exfoliating the skin rather than against the grain leaving it smooth, soft and irritation free. Citrus and Sugar Policies Booking & Appointments * All services are by appointment only. * Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in. Please be sure you have filled out all necessary waivers online prior to your appointment. * Only the client receiving service may be in the room — unless you’re a parent with your child or a minor accompanied by a parent/guardian. Payments * We accept credit/debit, cash, zelle, and Apple Pay. * Tips are not expected but always appreciated. Hygiene & Preparation * Please arrive freshly showered * Do not shave before your appointment. Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (¼ inch) for best results. * Avoid heavy lotions or oils on the day of your appointment. * Please avoid caffeine until after your service as it can increase sensitivity and raise your heart rate and blood pressure. * It is safe to receive a Brazilian sugaring service during your menstrual cycle however for your comfort and hygiene, please wear a fresh tampon. Health & Safety * If you’re using retinoids, Accutane, or have had recent chemical peels/lasers, please wait before booking — your skin may be too sensitive. * Let us know of any allergies, skin conditions, or medical concerns. * We reserve the right to decline service and reschedule you if sugaring isn’t safe for you that day. Respect & Comfort * Your comfort is our top priority — please let us know if you need breaks. * Harassment of any kind — verbal, physical, or otherwise — will not be tolerated.
